the oppressor’s laboratory (b. for oppression)

bleach on stolen land

After the mess has been made, the bleaching and cleaning must be done. America has done this through the removal of significant takings from the history books, the reduction of the damage that was caused, taking off school days to celebrate the oppressors. When teaching only reflects a small portion of those in the classroom, problems arise and knowledge is lost. By not giving us the tools at a young age, we are naive to the world and left unaware. We must be given the tools so that when we go out in the world, we don’t stare blankly and state “I had no idea.”
